SubscriberI tried to install and use my 3D Connexion SpaceMouse without success. I downloaded the actual driver from the 3D Connexion. My Windows 10 returned that the Notebook-software for the SpaceMouse is installed but there is no reaction from ANSYS Discovery SpaceClaim. I used the SpaceMouse before on Windows 7 with ANSYS SpaceClaim already successfully.
What is new? I didn´t found any info in the 3D Connexion Forum.

One of my colleagues has been using 3D Connexion SpaceMouse for years and below is his response:
You typically install the drivers/software from the webpage and it either works right away, or you need to search for the “start driver” shortcut and run it and then put it in your startup folder.
If they are referring to optimizing the mouse and changing settings, the software you install has a control panel with fully customizable settings.
The thing to watch out for is the mouse has global and program specific settings. Whatever is your active window (besides the control panel) is what you are changing the settings of (at least the last time I changed them).
Please let me know if the above information helps.

SubscriberI know that this is an old thread, but I am having the same issue now since I upgraded to 2021 R2.
Is there a setting in Spaceclaim that I have to adjust to accept input from a spacemouse?
I have used the spacemouse on older versions without a hitch, but now on this new computer and new version, I cannot get it to connect. The spacemouse works fine using its own viewer and while navigating chrome and google earth. I imported the user settings from the old versions to this version.
Thanks in advance.

SubscriberHi,
I´m about to win a deal which has to support the Spacemouse Wireless from 3D Connexion. Is there any new information on the support of the Spacemouse by ANSYS SpaceClaim? Thanks for it.
