2D transient simulation -torque issue

I am doing 2D transient electromagnetic simulation using Maxwell.

For some reason model is not producing enough torque. Any insight or suggestion regarding this will be really helpful.

      Hi,

The torque can be low for some reasons, please check:

      1. The mesh density in the airgap. You can also create layers of mesh elements in the airgap using dummy objects, in 2D it could be a circle.

      2. The material properties: If you are using nonlinear materials, please check that the B-H curve contains enough number of points and capture well the knee of the curve.

Ensure that the model depth is correctly setup.

      I hope it helps
