Hi, I have downloaded the free student version of Ansys and installed as specified on the website.
I keep running into a problem where there seems to be a license issue.Â
I have even tried reinstalling it several times, and everything works okay but fails every time when I try to describe geometry in Fluent.Â
I have been following along with a tutorial provided by Ansys so I am led to believe I am not doing anything wrong in my meshing process.Â
See screenshots attachedIs there anything I can do to fix this issue?ÂThanks! -

Hi Ferghus,
Is this happening with all the models? or any specific model?
Previously did you use any other versions excluding the free student version.

Hi Ferghus,
In your start menu type %temp%> .ansys> over there will be a file named "*discovery", scroll all the way down in that file and please share screenshot of that file.
