SubscriberHello,
I am having an issue with my license server. When using the Ansys Client Licensing Settings 2021 R2 app I can connect to the server just fine on the FlexNet Publisher tool:

Ansys EmployeeCan you ping: mehome5.me.uvic.ca from the client machine?
By the info provided, it looks as though the client can see the machine as ansys.me.uvic.ca
The Status depicts the license file using the hostname: mehome5.me.uvic.ca

Ansys EmployeeIf you use a firewall at your site and if you run Ansys products outside the firewall but access the license server within the firewall, you will need to add the Licensing Interconnect and FlexNet port numbers to the exceptions list, as well as the PORT designated on the VENDOR line of the license file. By default, these port numbers are:
Licensing Interconnect: 2325
FlexNet: 1055
PORT designated by PORT=#### on the VENDOR LINE in theansyslmd.licfile (seeVENDOR Linesfor information on this PORT number)
The VENDOR line specifies the vendor daemon's name and path.lmgrduses this line to start the vendor daemon, and the vendor daemon reads it to find its options file. The format of the VENDOR line is shown below.
VENDOR ansyslmd [vendor_daemon_path]
[[options=]options_file_path] [[port=]port]
