SubscriberIS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY OF DOING AN ANALYSIS ON A LINE ELEMENT BY APPLYING A SOLID SQUARE SECTION(100*100) AS THE DISCOVERY 2023 HAS ALL HOLLOW CROSS SECTIONS TO APPLY TO MY 1D ELEMENT.

Ansys EmployeeHi
The only way I found is to create a 3D solid (with 100 x 100 section), then use the extract tool in discovery (Prepare tab) and that will create a new extracted beam section which you can then use on your model so the rest of the lines and assign this section to them.
All the best
Erik
