SubscriberHi, I have simulated a 1D leaky wave antenna in HFSS and I obtained some contradictory results:
- Why is the accepted power (=0.88) less than the (1-|S11|^2)*incident power (=0.99)?
- Why does removing the infinite GND decrease the gain by about 6 dB rather than 3 dB?
- Why is the radiation efficiency 99% while |S21| is equal to -9 dB which means 33% of the accepted power is absorbed at port 2 and not radiated.
I would appreciate ay help. Thanks.
Best,
Elahe
