All Rocky content can be found through AIS Rocky, a platform created specifically for Rocky users.

1.     Where Can I find Rocky Tutorials?

The 25 Rocky tutorials are currently available on Ansys Help in our Rocky Tutorial Guide. Each chapter refers to a tutorial and the input files you use to follow the tutorials can also be downloaded there.You can also be redirected to the Rocky Tutorial Guide by accessing AIS Rocky in the Rocky Knowledge section.

2.     Is there a Rocky User Manual or user’s guide to help out with questions about Ansys Rocky for beginners?

Yes, Rocky currently has a User Manual with everything you need to know to start using Rocky, plus three Technical Manuals about DEM, CFD coupling and SPH, one Validation Manual and one Module Manual with technical and usability content about each of the modules available in Rocky.

All of these manuals can be found in Ansys Help, and you can be redirected to them by accessing AIS Rocky in the Rocky Knowledge section.

In addition to these, Rocky also has two more manuals, the API: PrePost Manual and the API: Solver Manual, which are available in the Help menu within the software.

3.     Are there free Ansys Rocky courses?

Yes, Rocky currently has three Free Courses in the Ansys Innovation Space.

These three courses were based on our tutorials and provide basic knowledge of Rocky's features and how to use them, focusing on the use of DEM and SPH.

These courses are available on Ansys Innovation Space Global under Free courses in the Fluids Engineering Courses section and also on AIS Rocky in the Rocky Courses section.

4.     What are Modules in Ansys Rocky and where can I find them?

The Modules are additional features that have been developed to extend Ansys Rocky capabilities.

5.     What are Rocky Scripts for and where can I download them?

6.     Are there Webinars about Rocky?  Where I find?

Yes, Rocky has a series of Webinars on various topics related to Rocky, they can be found on the Rocky page on the Ansys Website or in Rocky Webinars on AIS Rocky.

7.     Where is the Rocky installation guide? Are there any System Requirements?

The Rocky Installation Guide comes with the Rocky installation packages (Main Package), as well as the Additional Package and the SDK and Modules Package.

In addition, the Installation Guide can also be accessed on the Ansys Customer Portal under Installation and Licensing Help and Tutorials.

Inside this guide you will find installation tutorials, guidance on our modules and scripts and much more.

As with all other content mentioned, it is also possible to access the Installation Guide through AIS Rocky.

8.     What learning materials are available for Ansys Rocky?

Rocky has a wide range of learning materials, from the 25 Rocky Tutorials and Manuals to free courses and tutorial videos on the Ansys How-to YouTube channel. 

In addition to Webinars, blogposts, and interactions in the Rocky Community.

9.     Where can I find Rocky content?

10. Is there any document explaining more about the performance of Ansys Rocky with GPUs?

Yes, Rocky has the GPU Buying guide that is a material written by Rocky's Technical Team with the objective of helping you to choose the best Graphic Processing Units (GPUs) to process your simulations.

In addition to providing information about Rocky's performance with different GPU models.

The GPU Buying guide can be downloaded from AIS Rocky or the Ansys Customer Portal under Installation and Licensing Help and Tutorials.
