Forum ModeratorCan you try meshing in serial (ie one core) if you've picked several in the launcher. However, the stairstepping may be a clue that there's a problem else where in the model: are you just meshing a box?Â

No I’m meshing a formula student car for an external aerodynamics analysis, I will definitely try meshing with a single core in a couple minutes. However I don’t think the stairstepping is the problem because the other times I’ve had this error I just kept retrying to generate the volume mesh until success
update: now I'm getting this error:
999999: mpt_accept: warning: connection timed out after 120 seconds
0: mpi_accept: warning: connection timed out after 120 seconds
job aborted:
[ranks] message[0-15] process exited without calling finalize

fl_mpi2410.exe ended prematurely and may have crashed. exit code 2
