LIM is usually simulated in 2D, where coils are represented by square conductors. In 3D it is much harder to draw. You can draw them externally in CAD tool and then import them into Maxwell, or manually using the drawing operations to directly creat one. Just like regular 3D motor windings,they are closed loops, and you can create a cross section to assign the terminal for each one.
