I am trying to solve an M C K problem where K has some time varying elements in it. So it would be remote point 1 connected to remote point 2 using a 6X6 matrix which is a periodic function of time.
Alternatively, in my problem the time varying stiffness can be expressed as a force. This means that remote point 1 and remote point 2 are not connected to each other by a spring, but rather two equal but opposite forces are applied to them. These forces are not a function of time but a function of the DOFs of both remote points.Â
I hope I've become a bit more specific. Maybe transient structural is more suitable for my case.
