Hello. Please describe or show a screenshot of how you “imported the new mechanical model into geometry”.
In general, Parsolid conversion is more successful when the unit system is in a larger dimension, usually meters.
Another alternative is to use the .STL export, and see if it converts successfully into SpaceClaim or Discovery.
