Hi Amrita, 

I do not change my simulation region range (it's the orange rectangle that surround my objects on the picture) 

I have a mesh override region around my waveguide and when I modify the geometry of the mesh around the waveguide, the amount of electrode inside my mesh changes. However I felt like the results (specifically the loss) should not change if I'm not changing my simulation region. I'm just modifying the width and height of the mesh 

How do I configure a coarse mesh in the background ?
