Hi

First make sure the spring is body to ground and give a small stiffn. value to start with.

Then to do what you want put frictionless supports on all faces except the spring face.

Apply temp., and the spring gets compressed (say with 100 deg. C).

Use a spring reaction probe to look at the spring results
