Instead of considering recompiling the user defined primitive, first ensure that the dimensions and positions of the terminals are fully dependent on the coil geometry parameters first. If you are still encountering issues with the terminals detaching from the coil after parameter changes, you may need to review the steps you are taking to create and unite the terminals with the coil. For example change the operations to using "Modeler > Surface > Create Object From Face or Section".
