Hello Larry, I would like to ask you to talk a little bit about the exact objective of your analysis.   Depending on the objective, a static analysis may not be the correct approach to begin with and that is why it seems difficult to figure out how to constrain your model.

I can add:   A static structural analysis is essentially solving for static equilibrium (F=KE) as I am sure you know.   T I supposed one can still study a moving object if the frame of reference is moving with the object and you can try to look at how the object would deform under load as if you are sitting on top of the object moving with it.   Does that sound at all like what your problem statement would want you to do?

Problem statement with a focused object is the key here in my opinion.Â
