Hi, you can create two separate meshes, read each mesh into CFX-Pre and then connect the faces you want to connect with a mesh interface. You must connect some of the faces. The remaining faces will default to walls. To create separate meshes, attach two mesh cells to a common geomerty if all the geomerty is in one cell and suppress the relevant solids in each mesh cell. Alternatively have two geometries.

 

Or you can create a single mesh and place walls on the faces you want to block off. You must not block of a region entirely.
