Hello, 

The First simulation is just solid thermal simulation and you can see the solid solid conduction/heat transfer. 

Second simulation you did with enclosure you are modeling natural convection with fluid interacting with solid. This is Conjugate heat transfer analysis. You can refer these artciles for more information:
