We have an exciting announcement about badges coming in May 2025. Until then, we will temporarily stop issuing new badges for course completions and certifications. However, all completions will be recorded and fulfilled after May 2025.

This looks mostly fine Rohan, the disc stops suddenly because it has a very small inertia.

One suggestion is to have two separate materials for the disc and the pad.  Edit the density of the material for the disc and add 3 zeros to the value so it is 1000 times heavier. If necessary, you can add another zero or two.

You didn't follow the times I laid out in the other discussion which I have copied below.

  • Step 1, ramp the Rotational Velocity from 0 to the desired value in 0.9 seconds.
  • Step 2, hold the Rotational Velocity constant for 0.09 seconds.
  • Step 3, Deactivate the Joint Load (unless you want it active) in 0.01 seconds.
  • Step 4, Apply the brakes!
  • All your braking data will start at t=1.00 seconds.

You are ramping up the rotational velocity in 0.04 seconds. That will cause a large stress in the massive disc.

When you apply the brakes, you are ramping the force on over 0.01 seconds. Ramp the force on over 0.1 seconds.
