What is concerning to me is that under the application of the force, the steel part may separate easily from the concrete surface which i think is not very realistic, as we have some kind of chemical bond between the steel part and the concrete at their interface, is that correct? 

Based on the above, do you think a non-separation contact would be more representative? Thank you!Â
