When working with unconnected blocks in Ansys Mechanical, you may have difficulty grouping them into a single part when exporting the .k input file to LS-DYNA. To solve this problem, use the grouping feature in Ansys to create a single part for all the blocks. If necessary, write a script to adjust the input automatically.
