You could create lines in the x-direction (across) the jet. Offset each of these lines by some interval in y (vertical). Then you look at the concentration along the line. Define a cutoff level and then look at each of these lines and find what is the width of each that is above this concentration level.

I will say, you mesh might not be fine enough to have reliable results. I can see your mesh in these results. That is typically for results where the grid is not fine enough.Â
