The goal is to see minimal changes in these values as you refine the mesh. The volume fraction of phases plays a crucial role in accurately capturing the phase distribution. Without considering the volume fraction, the impact of phase distribution on heat flux might be missed. You should include volume fraction convergence in your mesh independence study
