A quick search on the error indicates that this is related to the Microsoft Visual Studio C++ redistributable .

Did you install Lumerical using the default install process on Windows (with admin access)? See this KB for details > Windows installation guide – Ansys Optics. 

Otherwise, please try to download and install the latest release of MS Visual C++ Redistributable from Microsoft (both x86 and x64 versions). Â
