Hi Amrita, thanks for your reply. I am aware the projection is in 3D space, which is why I shared two orthogonal slices. If you refer to the slices which I have displayed, you will observe there is a contradiction between them in the regions where they intersect (the limitations of R3 space simply prohibit the vectors from diverging through a boundary in one projection, and converging through the same boundary when viewed from an orthogonal axis). Anyone have any ideas why this is?

Good advice about posting to the photonics forum – I have also done that (the Ansys support site is extremely disorganised so it’s hard to know what is what and where to post things)
