Hi,

I have carried out the analysis with cylindrical supports – the expansion is 90 microns.

The same analysis with journal bearing (with stiffness & damping properties ) gave 220 microns of expansion.

I am not able to comprehend the deviation in results.

Please clarify, which support is correct.
