Hi Prasad,
It is possible in HFSS to model the coating thickness and study the effect alogn with the material properties. To do this, you can appropriately model the counductor thickness as well as material properties using project variables. Then you can use ‘Optimetrics’ module with Parametric setup in HFSS.
Optimetrics in HFSS is a powerful feature designed to automate the process of finding the best design variation from a set of possibilities. It allows users to define design parameters that can vary and perform different types of analyses to optimize and understand the design’s performance under various conditions.
Overview of Optimetrics:
Automates the process of determining the best design variation among multiple options.
Enables parameterization of model geometry, material properties, or boundary conditions.
Types of Analyses in Optimetrics:
Parametric analysis for variable sweep definitions to solve the design at each variation.
Optimization to change design parameters and meet the optimization goal.
Sensitivity analysis to explore the design’s sensitivity to small changes in variables.
Tuning to interactively change variable values while monitoring design performance.
Statistical analysis to explore effects of variable combinations on analysis results, presented as statistical distributions.
Kindly refer HFSS help PDF for more information on Optimetrics Analysis.
