Can I understand this way: If the electric field is cut off to zero inside or at the edge of the monitor by using a larger monitor, then the far-field filter function can be unnecessary. If I want to observe the far-field radiation pattern distribution of particles on the substrate (possibly SPPs waves), is a box monitor the best choice? Are there requirements for the location of the box monitor for the dipole source and distance from other structures? Hope to get your reply, thank you very much!
