It appears that you are attempting to use one of the Workbench integrated Ansys nCode DesignLife systems as a standalone system, which is not supported. The WB integrated systems must be linked to solved Mechanical systems. If you want to access a standalone DesignLife system, you must use the DesignLife system in the Component Systems section of the WB toolbox.
That system provides access the the standalone Glyphworks interface. You can use that interface to build a flow and access the .d3plot file using the FE_Input glyph.
Teaching how to use the glyphworks UI is beyond the scope of this forum, but there is a DesignLife training course available on the learning hub, and worked examples available in the DesignLife Help.
