The DPM_source is for when you want to add material into cells from the DPM trajectories. To "magically" add fluid mass you're wanting DEFINE_SOURCE. However, with VOF there are typically two or more fluids, not a solid. If you're using the solidification/melting model the frozen fluid is still a fluid: adding an amount of the frozen fluid may cause problems though.Â
