When the material loss is very small, it is dfficult to exactly eliminate the loss in FDTD material fitting, since the real and imaginary part must obey the kk relation. If it is much less dispersive for the real part, you can use a dielectric material with index in the object panel to set only one value to such material. This will ensure there is no loss from the material. Â
