Hi Rob, thanks for your reply. I am melting the solid using a laser (UDF for energy source term and solidification/melting model). Now, I want to add a mass source of the same material. One thing I have understood is that I do not need to add the force terms separately. FLUENT automatically takes care of that.

I just need to add a mass source term in the continuity equation. Can you please tell how to add that? I am unable to understand where to add DEFINE_SOURCE

The droplets fall into the melt pool and solidifiy thus creating a solid layer. As written in the paper, the droplets are inject over the melt pool. I tried using DEFINE_DPM_SOURCE but unable to add a deposit over the solid.
