Hi Taiye,

Please check the following for troubleshooting the issue you were facing:

1. Please check if you are designing your geometry in "Meter" or "mm" units. From your post, It looks like you are designing the geometry in meters eventhough you are intending it to be in mm. Please check the default units selected for your model in the ribbon area of Draw tab as per the screenshot below

2. One more reason why it looks the geometry is designed in meters is that you are not able to see the noticeable gap of 2 mm as per the screenshots. 

Kindly check and rescale the whole geometry to mm if the issue is with the default units and do let us know it is not sorted out.
