Hello, which software are you using? Assuming you mean Lumerical FDTD, you should make sure that there are at least a few mesh cells over each nanoparticle. A finer mesh will be more accurate, but the simulation will take longer. You can refine the mesh over the nanoparticles specifically using a mesh override object. Convergence testing should be used to determine how fine a mesh you need.
