To confirm, you are trying to create an enclosure around surface body and for that you need the enclosure to be surface right?

To create an enclosure around you will need to select one or more solid or faceted bodies. Surface bodies cannot be selected to create a domain around it. If you are working with a surface, you may need to first convert it to a solid or ensure that it is part of a solid body.
