Not with Student as far as I know. The licenced version allows some modules to be uninstalled.Â
If you click "Use built in compiler" there's no need to install Visual Studio; after many years of asking for it a CLANG compiler was built into the code. I'm not sure which version we're currently supporting, but it'll be covered in some of the "Supported Platform" documents in ansys.com and then Support.Â
