But why should a self-intersection occur if I have changed the geometry absolutely nothing? I have only added 2 angles in SpaceClaim, but have not changed them. The sphere is still 100% in the same position, so the angles are both 0°. So how can this error occur without changing the geometry, just by naming two angles? 
 
But apart from that, in the parameter study, which I have not yet carried out, these 2 angles are supposed to change (i.e. the sphere is supposed to rotate). How is this possible without the error of self-intersection?
