There is no option to select surfaces because it is a body load (load/unit volume).
Even though the shell is a surface body - it has a volume & mass etc. due to its thickness. So we should be able to apply body loads to it. For example, Ansys allows gravity/acceleration loads to be applied to shell bodies based on their elemental mass.
Another scenario, is it possible to map the EM loads coming from Maxwell to the shell bodies? Basically, I am trying to do the same thing. Except that my EM loads are coming from an external solver as a point cloud.
