There were a lot of recommendations in the post you linked that should be valid for your project too. Have to tried all of these:
- Disconnect system linkages from all other systems that are upstream to the Model cell you want to open, except if your SpaceClaim session is from a standalone geometry system. Keep that one linked to the downstream analysis system "Geometry" or "Model" cell.
- Clear the mesh in SpaceClaim and generate.
- "Reset" downstream Model cell.
- Delete all model cell linakges, "Reset" the Model cell, and connect the Geometry system again.
- Find .mechbd in project. Copy to outside of project, and rename to .mechdat. Import into a new, empty project, and specify the scdoc file from the old project on the Geometry cell.
Make sure "Save Mesh Data in Separate File" is off since this can sometimes cause a problem in assembled models and mesh-based geometry inputs:
