In the archive, there is one wire, but two revolute joints. Tension on that one wire is going to affect both joints. This is unsuitable for the simplest example.

Keep the revolute in the top viewport and change the revolute in the bottom vewport to Fixed.  One wire can only move the link up. There should be another wire that will move the link down.  For now, we will just work with one wire.
