I am attempting to do something similar to the original poster using ANSYS 2023 R1.  I created a basic pipe model using axisymmetry, applied a uniform pressure to the inner surface, and constrained the top and bottom edges in the y-direction.  When I investigate the normal stress in the z-direction (the hoop direction), it is not theta-independent as expected.  It almost seems like the stresses are plotted in the Cartesian z-direction, rather than the axisymmetric z-direction.  Any suggestions on how to display the results in the hoop-direction?
