Thank you for the post. Do you want to import an optical source or an electrical source? To import an electrical source is relatively easier, and we have elements like Piecewise import to import arbitrary electrical source. To import an optical source, you may refer to this page to do so: https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/4412906407955-Arbitrary-Waveform-Generators-from-File-for-INTERCONNECT. You can also use a scripted element to generate an optical source and use it in the circuit design as well.Â
