In Aqwa, either the internal tank liquid level or the fluid volume can be deined for the partially-filled 3D tank. The surfaces of the tank will be meshed, and the meshes below the mean liquid level will be considered as diffraction panels, the meshes above the mean liquid elevel will be treated as non-diffraction panels.
Aqwa only needs the surfaces of the internal tanks and external hull for the hydrodynamic analysis including the couplying between tanks' fluid motions and the motions of the vessel. The fluid potential theory is applied.
There is no Fluent-Aqwa cosimulation.
