Hi,

The governing equation for large deformation is same as in small deformation (div (Sigma)+ bodyforce =0), but the stress-strain relationship is found from a energy density functional, like neo-Hookean, Mooney- rivlin, yeoh model, etc. and the stress measures are different based on which configuration you are measuring the force and the corresponding area.
