Hello,Â
Could you kindly inform us which version of the software you are using? This issue has been spotted on the '23 versions and '24 versions and it is due to the geometry kernel change used by the software in these versions compared to the earlier ones. Basically, the moving region should not include hollow objects in it. So in this case, since you have a rotor with vacuum in the middle, the mesh generation has problems. The easiest way to solve it (and best practice for projects with rotational motion) is to include a shaft. So basically in this 2D model create a "circle" object with a radius of 25.4mm (as big as the hole in the middle of the rotor). This object should not be vacuum or air. Try the same material as the rotor. The results will be a bit different, but the model should work correctly. The workshop is in the process of being updated.Â
Kind regards,Â
