Hello Davide,

The given error says that your machine/laptop is not connected to the license server.
Cause could be:
1. Not pointing to correct server

2. Your laptop cannot identify the server name

3. Not connected to vpn

4. Port 1055,1056,2325 are blocked on either client or server end.

5. Firewall could be blocking ansys applications/ports/services.

6. Your laptop is not connected to stable network.

Can you go to Ansys Licensing  Settings and check if the correct server name and port number are mentioned?   To make changes in Ansys Licensing Client Settings please run it as administrator.

Are you able to ping or telnet your server, in the command prompt try using cmd “ping servername” and “telnet servername 1055”?

To ON telnet service go to start and search “Turn Windows feature on or off” check box “Telnet Client” and click ok.

Go to the start menu and open command prompt, and run the below-mentioned commands:

  1. ping servername

type this command and send the screenshot of the output.

  1. telnet servername portnumber

A blank screen will confirm that you are connected, if you get any other output, please provide a screenshot of the same.

Wishes,
Mrunali.
