Yes, that would be a species model; you'd have a mixture of blood and contrast. 

You create the enviroment in exactly the same way as any model. Figuring out the artery properties & any surrounding effects will need some research & work. Have a look in the Learning section on here to see the artery example - that will give you some ideas to get started.
