Hello Jordan,
Unfortunately, no HFSS 2023R2 cannot simualte encrypted ACIS components due to the switch to the Parasolid geometry kernal. From the release notes:
"Projects containing 3D Components that are not encrypted will be migrated automatically to
Parasolid, and the modified component definitions will be saved in the project; however,
encrypted components cannot be modified. Projects containing encrypted components will show
a message during conversion, and components will be marked as unsupported. These projects
will open, display non-hidden geometry, and even post-process existing solutions, but will not
generate new solutions. To complete the migration of such projects, users must update all
encrypted components using new definitions based on Parasolid."
In short, you will have to contact the model provider to ask them to migrate the uncencryped component to Parasolid, and then re-encrypt the model and deilver it to you.Â
