That is a good idea, but the problem is that the failure deformation occured in a higher value than the conpressive stress value of the material.

for instance: the compressive strength of the material was 3500 kpa, I have applied an incremental stress value (trapizordal), in which the end pressure was way higher than the conpressive stregnth value of the material. The material BROKE on a stress of 4.71e3 kpa in which it is way higher than the stress that the material should fail to bear (3500 kpa)

shouldn't it break on 3500kpa if there was NO strain rate effect?
