I apologize for the brevity of my previous response. I would like to simulate breast compression with a fixed lower plate and an upper plate that moves downwards to compress the breast. I want to ensure that the right side of the breast, represented by the red line, can only move in the negative x-axis direction during compression while being free to move in the y and z directions. Similarly, the left side of the breast, represented by the red line, can only move in the positive x-axis direction while being free to move in the y and z directions. I plan to perform this simulation in Ansys Mechanical.I would like to ask is there a way to set my above boundary conditions?
