It looks like it has some symmetry. If you create a blocking pattern, you could then copy this around to create the full domain. One small advantage of this approach over the tet mesh is knowing your mesh is symmetric. When you look at vortices shed by the object, the question would arise (from an older prof.) how can you be sure that these are not tripped by the errors caused by the unequal grid.
